SnagRes tracks real-time reservation availability for hard-to-book restaurants in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago. Instead of checking each restaurant yourself, you see which spots have open tables and when. Platform coverage is stated city by city, including where a city currently has only Resy coverage.
We check each restaurant's calendar many times a day. For the restaurants people are watching, we look at least one night past the furthest date each one releases, so a newly opened night is covered from the moment it appears. The data refreshes constantly, so you catch openings as they appear, whether from a cancellation or a fresh reservation release.
Getting into a hard-to-book restaurant should not mean refreshing a booking calendar all day. SnagRes watches the restaurants it covers in one place and tells you when a table appears.

No. SnagRes is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Resy or any of its parent companies. We simply display publicly available reservation data to make it easier to find a table.
A restaurant shows "Sold Out" when there are no available reservations across all dates we track. This is common for the most popular spots. Keep checking: cancellations and new releases happen regularly.
Green (Available) means the restaurant has open tables on a majority of its dates. Yellow (Filling Up) means availability is scarce: only a few dates have openings. Red ("Sold Out") means no reservations are currently available.
No. SnagRes never books, holds or resells a table. Each restaurant card has a booking link that takes you straight to that restaurant's own page on Resy, OpenTable, Tock, or SevenRooms, where you make the reservation yourself.
