Yes, same product and same team. SnagNYC became SnagRes in August 2026 when we added San Francisco, because the old name only described half of what we cover. Every snagnyc.com link still works and redirects here, your account and saved alerts carried over untouched, and nothing about how the tracker works changed. If you bookmarked SnagNYC, you are in the right place.
SnagRes tracks real-time reservation availability for 140+ of the hardest-to-book restaurants in New York City and San Francisco, across Resy, OpenTable, Tock, and SevenRooms. Instead of checking each restaurant yourself, you see at a glance which spots have open tables and when.
We check each restaurant's calendar out to 30 days ahead, many times a day. The data refreshes constantly, so you catch openings as they appear, whether from a cancellation or a fresh reservation release.
Getting into the best restaurants in NYC and SF shouldn't mean refreshing Resy, OpenTable, Tock, and SevenRooms all day. SnagRes watches every top spot in one place, so you don't have to.
Continuously, around the clock. The "Last updated" timestamp in the header shows when your view was last refreshed.
No. SnagRes is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Resy or any of its parent companies. We simply display publicly available reservation data to make it easier to find a table.
A restaurant shows "Sold Out" when there are no available reservations across all dates we track. This is common for the most popular spots. Keep checking\u2013cancellations and new releases happen regularly.
Green (Available) means the restaurant has open tables on a majority of its dates. Yellow (Filling Up) means availability is scarce\u2013only a few dates have openings. Red ("Sold Out") means no reservations are currently available.
Not yet. Each restaurant card has a booking link that takes you straight to that restaurant's own page on Resy, OpenTable, Tock, or SevenRooms, where you make the reservation yourself.
A free tool to help you find reservations at the most popular restaurants in New York City and San Francisco.
SnagRes (formerly SnagNYC) is an independent product. We're not affiliated with "Snag Reservations", the "Snag" app, or any auto-booking service. SnagRes tells you the moment tables open; it never logs into your accounts and never books on your behalf.
Plus is our optional subscription ($9.99/month, or /month on the yearly plan). Plus members get an instant text the moment a tracked restaurant releases new reservations, exact slot times on the calendar (free shows status only), and a 30-day calendar view (free shows 14 days). The basic tracker stays free for everyone. Plus is just for people who want to never miss a release.
Instant text alerts when restaurants release reservations, exact times, and the full 30‑day calendar. From /month · cancel anytime.
