TableOne publishes no free plan. Its pricing page lists $18 a month or $129 a year (tableone.app/pricing, as of 19 October 2026). Its iPhone app is listed as a free download on the App Store (apps.apple.com/us/app/-/id6448799631, as of 19 October 2026).
Neither does. TableOne says it "does not reserve a table on your behalf" (tableone.app/how-it-works, as of 19 October 2026). SnagRes never books, holds or resells a table; you book it yourself on the restaurant's own platform.
Both cover Resy, OpenTable, Tock and SevenRooms. TableOne lists those four on tableone.app/platforms (as of 19 October 2026); SnagRes tracks rooms on all four.
TableOne sends push notifications through its iPhone app (tableone.app/how-it-works, as of 19 October 2026). SnagRes sends a text and an email. The SnagRes iPhone app is not released yet, so it does not send push.
Its Fulfillment Policy says subscription fees are non-refundable once charged and that mid-cycle cancellations get no pro-rated refund, though it asks you to get in touch if you were charged in error (tableone.app/fulfillment, last updated 16 April 2025, as of 19 October 2026).
SnagRes is free for one restaurant, and Plus is $14.99 a month or $99.99 a year. TableOne lists $18 a month or $129 a year, with no free tier published (tableone.app/pricing, as of 19 October 2026).
Both services watch Resy, OpenTable, Tock and SevenRooms, both only alert you, and neither books a table for you. TableOne sends push notifications from a released iPhone app, for $18 a month or $129 a year with no free tier. SnagRes sends texts and emails, tracks 284 restaurants in four cities, is free for one restaurant, and Plus is $14.99 a month or $99.99 a year.
Every TableOne line below is what TableOne publishes on its own site or App Store listing, as of 19 October 2026. Where it publishes nothing, we say not published rather than guess.
What it does. TableOne: alerts only; its How it works page says it "does not reserve a table on your behalf" and that "an alert is not a reservation" (tableone.app/how-it-works, as of 19 October 2026). SnagRes: alerts only; it never books, holds or resells a table.
Platforms. TableOne: Resy, OpenTable, Tock and SevenRooms, monitored "24/7" (tableone.app/platforms, as of 19 October 2026). SnagRes: the same four.
Price. TableOne: $18 a month or $129 a year (tableone.app/pricing, as of 19 October 2026). SnagRes: Plus is $14.99 a month or $99.99 a year.
Free tier. TableOne: not published; no free plan or public trial appears on its pricing page (tableone.app/pricing, as of 19 October 2026). SnagRes: a free account watches one restaurant and gets texts and emails about it, a little after Plus members do.
How alerts arrive. TableOne: push notification (tableone.app/how-it-works, as of 19 October 2026). SnagRes: text and email.
Apps. TableOne: an iPhone and iPad app (iOS 15 or later) plus its website (apps.apple.com/us/app/-/id6448799631, as of 19 October 2026); Android: not published. SnagRes: a website that works in any phone browser; our iPhone app is not released yet.
Cities. TableOne: not published (tableone.app, as of 19 October 2026). SnagRes: 84 restaurants in New York, 60 in San Francisco, 72 in Los Angeles and 68 in Chicago.
Refunds. TableOne: its Fulfillment Policy says "all subscription fees are non-refundable once charged" and "no pro-rated refunds are issued for mid-cycle cancellations"; you keep access to the end of the period you paid for (tableone.app/fulfillment, last updated 16 April 2025, as of 19 October 2026). SnagRes: cancel from your account page and Plus runs to the end of the period you paid for.
How many restaurants you can watch. TableOne: not published. SnagRes: one on the free tier, more on Plus.
TableOne has a released iPhone app with push notifications today. If you want an alert that lives in an app on your lock screen, that is a real advantage, and ours is not out yet.
TableOne publishes no city list; its site speaks of "your city" (tableone.app, as of 19 October 2026). SnagRes covers four cities and only the rooms it tracks, so if the restaurant you want is outside them, TableOne may cover it and we cannot.
A free tier. TableOne publishes no free plan, so the first alert costs money. SnagRes watches two restaurants free, with texts for one of them, and you can browse live availability for all 284 rooms without an account.
Texts and email instead of push alone. A text reaches you without an app installed or notifications switched on, and the email is a second copy if the text is missed.
A measured record. SnagRes has logged 61,530,416 checks of live booking calendars and publishes, for each room it tracks, how often a table opens and when the calendar releases. That tells you whether an alert is worth waiting on before you pay for one.
Pick TableOne if you want push alerts from a native iPhone app now, or if your restaurant is not one we track and you are happy to pay from the first alert.
Pick SnagRes if your restaurant is one of the 284 we track in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles or Chicago, if you would rather be texted than pushed, or if you want to try it free before paying. Plus is $14.99 a month after that.
Either way, an alert is not a reservation. Both services tell you a table opened; you book it yourself, in your own name, on the restaurant's own platform.
TableOne and SnagRes both watch Resy, OpenTable, Tock and SevenRooms and never book. Price, free tier, alerts and apps compared, with sources.
