At our 19 October 2026 reading, the tightest Italian rooms for two were Quarter Sheets (7%), Bar Funke (20%) and Felix (30%). Quarter Sheets opens far more for four, at 20% of dates, and 41% of its dates had a table open up at some point.
Its Resy listing says 14 days ahead at 9 AM Pacific. Tuesday is its best night by our checks, and its most common opening is 9:00 PM.
Plan close to the date. Funke opens , and we have seen new dates appear around 9:00 AM PT. 33% of its openings are before 6 PM, so an early dinner is easier. It has not shown a table on Sundays.
The most open were Bestia (100%), Cosetta (100%), Funke (100%), Jon & Vinny's (100%) and Pizzana (100%). Bestia and Osteria Mozza put 55% and 46% of their openings between 7:00 and 8:30 PM.
It depends on the room. Four reads higher at Quarter Sheets, 20% against 7%, and at Donna's, 87% against 70%. Two reads higher at Bar Funke, 20% against 7%.

We track seventeen Italian restaurants in Los Angeles. At our 19 October 2026 reading, the tightest for a table of two were Quarter Sheets (7%), Bar Funke (20%), Felix (30%) and Bar di Bello (33%). Each figure is the share of dates in the room's booking window with a table anyone could book.
None of these is closed to you. Every one of them had tables open up during the month, and several open more for four than for two. The median Italian room read 70%, against 67% for all 72 Los Angeles rooms we measure.
Los Angeles joined the tracker in late September 2026. These figures rest on a few weeks of checks, 851,588 of them across the Italian rooms, so they are early and they will move.
Quarter Sheets, Echo Park, Resy. 7% for two, 20% for four, and 41% of its dates opened up at some point.

Quarter Sheets is the tightest Italian room we measure in the city, and party size changes it most. A two-top was open on 7% of dates and a four-top on 20%, which is 6 dates against 2. If you can bring two friends, search for four first.
Its Resy listing says tables release 14 days ahead at 9 AM Pacific. Be signed in with the party size set a minute before, because the first tables go quickly.
The week has a clear shape. Tuesday showed a table on 6% of our checks and Friday on 2%. Its most common opening is 9:00 PM, and 30% of what opens is at 9 PM or later.
After the release, tables keep coming back. 41% of its dates had a table open up at some point, and we have logged 5,755 open slots there. Those are cancellations, and an alert on your nights is how you hear about one first.

Evan Funke's two Beverly Hills rooms keep short windows. Bar Funke releases 7 days ahead at 9 AM, per its Resy listing. Funke opens , and we have seen its new dates appear around 9:00 AM PT. A short window means most nights are decided close to the date, so plan the week, not the month.
Funke has not shown a table on Sundays, and Bar Funke not on Sundays. At Funke, 33% of openings are before 6 PM and the most common is 5:30 PM, so an early dinner is the easier ask. 40% fall in the 7:00 to 8:30 PM band, which is a real prime-time chance.
Bar Funke is a room for two. Two-tops read 20% and four-tops 7%, so a pair has the better odds here. Its most common opening is 5:15 PM, and Monday was its best night at 18% of checks.

Felix in Venice releases 7 days ahead at 10 AM Pacific, per its own reservations page. 41% of its dates had a table open up at some point. Its week is steady, from 31% on Monday to 19% on Saturday, and 35% of openings land between 7:00 and 8:30 PM.
Bar di Bello books on SevenRooms and has not shown a table on Mondays or Tuesdays. Thursday was its best night at 48% of checks. Its most common opening is 10:00 PM, so a late table is the likely one.
Hippo has not shown a table on Mondays or Tuesdays, and the other nights are close to even. It puts 44% of its openings in the prime band, most often at 8:45 PM.
Mother Wolf releases 14 days ahead at 9 AM Pacific, per its Resy listing. It read 37% for two, and 49% of dates opened up at some point. Its most common opening is 9:30 PM, and 28% of openings are at 9 PM or later.
The most open Italian rooms we measure in Los Angeles were Bestia (100%), Cosetta (100%), Funke (100%), Jon & Vinny's (100%) and Pizzana (100%). If the date matters more than the room, start here.
Bestia in the Arts District read 100% for two and Osteria Mozza in Hollywood 97%. Both book on OpenTable, and they put 55% and 46% of their openings between 7:00 and 8:30 PM. That is a real dinner hour, not a leftover afternoon slot.
Cosetta and Jon & Vinny's are open on most dates, but much of it is early: 56% and 72% of their openings are before 6 PM. Pizzana read 100%. Ètra read 77% and has not shown a table on Mondays. Donna's read 70% for two and 87% for four, and its week is lopsided: 92% of checks found a table on Tuesdays against 12% on Saturdays.
Bestia: 100% for two, OpenTable, released 60 days ahead.
Osteria Mozza: 97% for two, OpenTable, released 30 days ahead.
Ètra: 77%, 41% of openings in the prime band.
Know the release first. Quarter Sheets goes up 14 days ahead at 9 AM, Mother Wolf 14 days ahead at 9 AM, Felix 7 days ahead at 10 AM, Bar Funke 7 days ahead at 9 AM, and Donna's 28 days ahead at 10 AM. All times are Pacific. Be signed in with your party size set before the minute.
Then check both party sizes. In two of the Italian rooms we measure, four-tops were open on more dates than two-tops. It costs one extra search.
