Among the 13 LA rooms with a published window and exact time, 9:00 AM is the most common release time. 5 release at 9 AM and 4 at 10 AM, Pacific time.
The median window is 14 days. 2 rooms open 30 days ahead and 6 open 14 days ahead.
We use the venue's own booking page when it publishes a rule, then label current city reporting when the venue does not. Every rule is checked against the calendar we watch, and exact times stay blank when they are not defensible.
Of the 72 Los Angeles restaurants we track, 13 publish both a usable release window and an exact time. The most common confirmed time is 9:00 AM: 5 rooms release at 9 AM, 4 at 10 AM and 0 at midnight, all in Pacific time.
The window is the other half. 2 rooms open 30 days ahead, 6 open 14 days ahead and 0 open 21 days ahead; the median among published rules is 14 days. Every other room still has its measured calendar edge in the table. If the venue has not published a clock time, the table says so instead of guessing.
The release-times table lists each room's next drop date, and a reminder on the row texts members a few minutes before it.
9 AM Pacific: 5 rooms, among them Bar Funke, Mother Wolf, Muse, Quarter Sheets and The Benjamin.
10 AM Pacific: 4 rooms, among them Baby Bistro, Donna's, Felix and n/naka.
Count back the window from the night you want, be on the booking page at the release minute with the party size set, and take the first slot that fits. If you are booking from the East Coast, add three hours: a 10 AM Los Angeles release is 1 PM in New York.
A release is not a cancellation. When the calendar opens, a whole night goes up at once and the popular tables are gone inside a minute. Cancellations arrive one at a time for the rest of the window, and that is what the alert is for.
